Artist Statement
I photograph wildlife not as spectacle, but as presence. My work is shaped by long hours in quiet places — open plains, drought seasons, and the fragile moments when animals move through landscapes older than memory.
I am drawn especially to solitude: the lone bull elephant, the waiting vulture, the stillness before survival asserts itself.
These images are not about pursuit. They are about patience, trust, and reading the land itself — shadows, nests, wind, and light — as evidence of time and direction.
Each photograph holds a small truth hidden in plain sight, revealed only to those who look slowly.
Through black and white, I seek simplicity and permanence: to honour animals not as symbols, but as living beings, enduring, vulnerable, and profoundly dignified.
